Bold Option Defines Advantage

By bold strategies, Boda keeps driving the industry and leading to success. By boldly choosing Boda, you define what’s competitiveness.

HV Power Transformer

China has significant advantages in extra-high voltage (EHV) and ultra-high voltage (UHV) technologies and industries, establishing itself as a global leader in this field.  China’s advantages in UHV and EHV technologies and industries are mainly reflected in technological leadership, project scale, industrial chain completeness, standard-setting influence, policy support, and clean energy integration capabilities. These strengths have not only driven the development of China’s power industry but also provided important references for global energy transition and power infrastructure construction.

With the mission of “Power Flows, Carbon Low”, BODA actively responds to the “Dual Carbon” strategy by collaborating with renowned power equipment companies and supplying equipment for wind power stations and photovoltaic power stations. As a result, BODA products have been integrated into China’s state-owned grids, including the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) and China Southern Power Grid (CSG), as well as several local grids. Furthermore, alongside the export of power technologies and equipment, BODA products have been quietly serving billions of people across four continents to date.

BODA has been the strategic supplier for many for big names and public companies in the industry.  The listed products are part of the products made by BODA. Oil Tanks for HV Power Transformers:

Anti Corrosion Is Not A Small Challenge For Transformer Oil Tanks Offshore Wind Power And Photovoltaic Generation

Boda has been supplying many power transformer oil tanks of C5H coating finish for photovoltaic and wind power stations at the seashore or on offshore platforms at sea level. They are all running well.  According to the ISO standard, the anti-corrosion levels of power transmission and distribution transformers are primarily classified based on ISO 12944, “Paints and varnishes – Corrosion protection of steel structures by protective paint systems.” This standard categorizes corrosive environments into the following classes:

C1 – Very Low: Indoor environments with low pollution, such as offices and schools.

C2 – Low: Indoor or outdoor environments with low pollution, such as rural areas and warehouses.

C3 – Medium: Urban and industrial environments with moderate pollution, such as urban areas and food processing plants.

C4 – High: Highly polluted industrial environments or coastal areas, such as chemical plants and coastal industrial zones.

C5 – Very High: Extremely high pollution industrial environments or coastal areas with high salinity, such as offshore platforms and chemical plants.

Additionally, ISO 12944 classifies protective coating systems into different durability levels based on the severity of the corrosive environment:

Low Durability (L): 2-5 years

Medium Durability (M): 5-15 years

High Durability (H): Over 15 years

Therefore, the anti-corrosion level of power transmission and distribution transformers should be selected based on the specific environment to ensure long-term and reliable operation.
