As the Mid-Autumn Festival, China’s second-most important traditional festival after the Spring Festival, draws near, I am struck by the profound and time-honored Chinese culture that shapes our spiritual heritage. Inspired by the occasion, I would like to share the ancient primer Thousand-Character Classic(Qiān Zì Wén) with you and explore its structure and rhyme. Following its style, I have written an extended piece that embodies BODA’s vision, philosophy, values and craftsmanship. This is a humble work(partly supported by AI) for you to know more about BODA and appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese learning. Wishing you all a peaceful and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Thousand-Character Classic(Qiān Zì Wén)  was composed in the Southern Dynasties period, roughly in the 6th century AD. A remarkable feature: it uses 1,000 distinct Chinese characters without repetition, arranged as rhythmic verse, easy to recite. Originally created as a textbook for beginners to master Chinese characters. Its content ranges from the formation of the universe, geography, ancient events, to moral codes, social norms and life principles. It does not merely teach literacy. It passes on ancient Chinese worldviews and ethics. Alongside the Three-Character Classic and Hundred Family Surnames, it forms the core trio of traditional Chinese elementary education. Its concise, lyrical style has won lasting admiration. Many idioms and well-known phrases we still use today originate from this work.

BODA Precision · Adapted Thousand-Character Ode

Heaven and earth, dusk‑hued and vast,

Cosmos emerged from primal past.

Moon waxes, wanes; sun rises high,

Stars in their constellations lie.

Cold yields to heat; seasons take turn,

Harvests are reaped, stores fill and burn.

All beings grow by nature’s hand,

Human craft unfolds the grand.

BODA Precision, aims far and wide,

Power conveyed, carbon defied.

Honesty roots our solid ground,

Righteous repute resounds around.

Innovation opens new frontier,

Steadfast our cause, we strive and steer.

Craftsmen endure the toiling hour,

Forging the backbone of our power.

Wise counsels chart the distant way,

Sound strategies guide us each day.

Our team unites, our strengths combine,

Radiant glory begins to shine.

Grateful we walk our destined way,

Win‑win companions light our day.

The character “ 圆 yuán ” in Chinese — represents reunion, fulfillment and completeness.
The mooncake’s roundness = the full moon above = reunion on earth = a life of complete fulfillment.

These rigid, unyielding “circles“ stand for the meticulous discipline and complete quality control that perfection demands — and the roundness of the mooncake is the reward for all these circles.
